Get Your Mind RIPE: Leadership Isn’t a Title
It all begins with an idea.
We started RIPE because the space of leadership felt stale—wrapped up in textbook definitions that didn't reflect the reality of what it takes to lead. Are you a servant leader? A transformational leader? The labels never seemed to capture the full picture.
Leadership isn't a title or a style—it's how you show up. And that goes beyond tactics or frameworks. It demands ownership of who you are, a commitment to your well-being, and the courage to bring your full self to the table—even while you're still a work in progress, because let's face it, we all are. Leadership isn't just what you do—it's how you move through both your work and your life.
Everyone has the capacity to build a life they're fired up about, but this isn't a spectator sport. You don't get points for watching.
You can't sit on the sidelines and hope things magically click into place. You have to get in the game, take the hits, make the plays, and put in the reps. That's how you change the game.
Will it be perfect? Hell no. But that's what makes RIPE different. It's not about playing it safe—it's about playing to win. It's about stepping up without the perfect plan, taking the shot even when the odds aren't guaranteed, and trusting yourself to figure it out along the way. Every athlete knows growth happens in the reps, in the mess, in the losses that make the wins even sweeter. Every entrepreneur knows success doesn't come from waiting—it comes from betting on yourself and backing that bet with action.
You don't have to do it alone, but you do have to do it. Confidence isn't something you wait to feel—it's built through movement, through proving to yourself that you can handle the pressure, adapt, and push forward.
RIPE isn't just for those with a leadership title—it's for anyone willing to take ownership of their potential.
Your time and energy matter. We see them as an investment, and this newsletter is one way we're investing in you. Each issue will bring you a tool to try on, inspiration to fuel your growth, and resources to keep you sharp—plus updates on everything happening at RIPE. We're building a mix of in-person experiences in NY, LA, and Austin, along with digital offerings, cohorts, programs, workshops, and more.
Know that there are humans on the other side of this email who are willing to listen. If you want to shoot us a note, ask a question, or need a specific tool to support you in this moment—DO NOT HESITATE. Life is a team sport.
Let's get to work.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
